Magazine
about.
M.A.R.B.L.E is a B5 editorial magazine inspired by Books@Cafe and Wild Jordan, two destinations in Jordan that bring together cafés, bookstores, restaurants, and social spaces. The magazine explores the variety of experiences, cuisines, and interiors found across both locations through experimental layouts, typography, and visual storytelling within a cohesive design system.
challenge.
The challenge was creating a magazine that could shift between different moods and visual styles without losing a clear sense of unity. I experimented with typography, composition, negative space, textures, and custom cutouts to give each section its own character while maintaining a consistent editorial structure throughout the publication.

result.
The final publication brought together a range of experimental layouts and visual treatments within one cohesive editorial system. Layered imagery, cutout elements, expressive typography, and negative space created depth and variation, resulting in a visually engaging magazine that reflects the diverse character of the featured spaces.
